PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat adjustable in resilience of cushioning corresponding to the physique or preference of a seated person while supporting a load by a "plane" in a stable condition, and designed to support the load of the seated person favorably even if the load is applied unexpectedly. SOLUTION: A plank-shaped plate body 31 is attached to a backrest frame 3 movably in the forward/backward direction via a wire spring 32, and a resiliency adjusting plate 40 moving in the forward/backward direction relative to the plate body 31 is provided in the plate body 31. The prescribed section of the resiliency adjusting plate 40 is formed into an extruded face section 70 protruded forward when the space between the upper edge side and the lower edge side of the resiliency adjusting plate 40 is narrowed, and the resiliency adjusting plate 40 around the extrusion face section 70 is configured to be moved forward/backward to adjust the supporting resiliency of the plate 40 for the body of the seated person.
