PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water tank so designed that the conducting wires of a water purifier are avoided from entering the inside space of a water container and also avoided from causing a danger resulting from current leak of the conducting wires in the water in the above inside space, thus securing the safety in its use and serving its appearance as a whole to be made streamlined further. SOLUTION: The water tank comprises the water container and the water purifier installed in the water container. In this water tank, the water purifier includes a filtration structure and a driving structure giving mechanical power to the filtration structure, being characterized in that the filtration structure is installed in the inside space of the water container and the driving structure is installed outside of the inside space of the water container.
