<p>A technology is provided to improve convenience for users while to protect copyrights of contents When a user, through an operating unit (401), demands to start using or to copy map data stored in a storage device (200), a control unit (402) firstly makes a cryptographic engine (103) retrieve a content key from the storage device (200). Secondly, the control unit (402) makes a license generating unit (407) encrypt the retrieved content key with a device ID held in a device ID holding unit (404). License data including the generated license key are transferred to the storage device (200) through the cryptographic engine (103), and are overwritten on, and replace, license data recorded in the storage device (200).</p> |
