MICROPLATE MOUNTING STAND, AND ANALYTE TESTING/OBSERVING APPARATUS EQUIPPED THEREWITH

[PROBLEMS] To provide an analyte testing/observing apparatus that is capable of preventing the vaporization and drying of pre-dispensation analyte and reagent accommodated in multiple wells provided in a microplate and thus stabilizing the reaction between the analyte and the reagent, thereby attaining not only enhancement of the accuracy of analyte testing but also space saving. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] There is provided a microplate mounting stand included in analyte testing/observing apparatus, wherein mounting stand (10) for mounting of at least one microplate being either microplate (27) furnished with multiple wells (27a) for analyte accommodation or microplate (28) furnished with multiple wells (28a) for reagent accommodation, or both is equipped with retractable shutter (20) covering the surface of at least one above-mentioned microplate mounted on the mounting stand (10). The shutter (20) at the discontinuation of dispensing operation closes, descends and is brought into contact with the surface of microplates (27,28), thereby preventing the vaporization and drying of pre-dispensation analyte and reagent accommodated in the wells.
