PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve security without reducing usability. SOLUTION: According to an elapsed time period from the last use end time point of a computer 10 to a time point that the computer 10 will be used next time, the number (necessary authentication number) of authentication processing is automatically changed that is required to be successful for using the computer 10. A use permission determination section 700 determines whether or not the number of successful authentication processing has reached the necessary authentication number. If the number of successful authentication processing reaches the necessary authentication number, the use permission determination section 700 permits the use of the computer 10.
