PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an abnormal noise caused by tacking between a belt supporting roll and a belt member. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: the endless belt member (B); a pair of belt supporting rolls (T2) arranged facing each other across the belt member (B); and a vibration restraining member (1) arranged near on the downstream side of the pair of belt supporting rolls (T2) in the rotating direction of the belt member (B) while coming in contact with the belt member (B).
