PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus, an imaging condition setting method in the magnetic resonance imaging apparatus, and a data processing method in the magnetic resonance imaging apparatus capable of reducing the positional shift of an image due to frequency correction of an excitation pulse using a frequency offset and a phase shift which occurs at a similar frequency during readout of echo data. SOLUTION: The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus has a data collecting means for collecting a plurality of echo data (ECHO) from a subject by nuclear magnetic resonance after applying an excitation pulse (90°); a frequency offset acquiring means for acquiring a frequency offset; a frequency modulating means for modulating the frequency of the excitation pulse based on the frequency offset; and a phase shift correcting means for canceling a phase shift occurring on each of the plurality of echo data due to a frequency modulation during readout of the plurality of echo data (ECHO) according to the frequency offset.
