<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outboard motor capable of easily and surely adjusting height of a steering handle at a navigation position while improving an appearance and saving a space. <P>SOLUTION: A fastening face 44 with a screw hole 43 bored at a center is formed on a front face of a stopper part 33 of a handle supporting bracket 22. An adjusting piece 45 having an approximate H-shape is fastened with a fastening face 44 by a bolt 51 screwed in the screw hole 43. The adjusting piece 45 comprises a planar base part 46 with a bolt hole 46a bored, and four spacer parts 47-50 projecting in a forward and backward direction from top and bottom ends of the base part 46. The spacers 47-50 are interposed between a handle side stopper face 41 and a supporting side stopper face 42, so as to set the height of the steering handle 23 at the navigation position, and have predetermined thicknesses and inclinations, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
