PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing belt which excels in heat resistance and mechanical strength, has a low thermal conductivity, prevents heat leak in standby of the apparatus, and can realize energy saving of the image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The fixing belt is a fixing belt having a polyimide resin layer, wherein the fixing belt contains closed cells in the polyimide resin layer and has a thermal conductivity of≤0.5 W/m×K.
