PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor excellent in sensitivity behavior by using a charge transport agent excellent in solubility in an organic solvent and in compatibility with a binder resin used for forming a photosensitive layer. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic photoreceptor, the charge transport agent is a phenylamine compound represented by formula (1), wherein Ar<SB>1</SB>-Ar<SB>4</SB>are each a 1-6C alkyl group, a 6-20C aryl group or an aralkyl group comprising a 1-6C alkyl moiety and a 6-20C aryl moiety, at least one of Ar<SB>1</SB>and Ar<SB>2</SB>has a perfluoroalkyl group or a group; CF<SB>3</SB>-(CF<SB>2</SB>)<SB>p</SB>-(CH<SB>2</SB>)<SB>q</SB>-O- (p and q are each an integer of 0-2) as a substituent; and n is an integer of 0-2.
