PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a portable printer which can print a label that can be stuck on a building, a structure of a ground point by printing especially address information relevant to positional information. SOLUTION: The portable printer 1 having an interface 3 which can be connected with a built-in keyboard 2 and an external information terminal 9 and printing input character information to be inputted, comprises a GPS unit 7, a character string information forming means 13 for forming positional information acquired from the GPS unit at least as character string information 14, a QR code generating means 15 for converting and forming the character string information 14 into two-dimensional QR code information 16, a printing information forming means 17 for combining required character string information 8 which should be printed out together with QR code information 16 based on layout information 10B and generating printing information 18, and a printing means 19 for printing the printing information 18 formed by the printing information forming means 17 on the surface of the label 20.
