A plasma display panel is provided to increase the uniformity of discharge and the amount of discharge by inducing opposite discharge, thereby improving the luminous efficiency. Barrier ribs(115,124) are formed between a first substrate(111) and a second substrate(121) to define discharge cells(126). First discharge electrodes(112) are formed in the barrier ribs, and second discharge electrodes(113) are spaced apart from the first discharge electrodes in the barrier ribs. Address electrodes(122) are formed to intersect the first and second discharge electrodes. Floating electrodes(122a) are interposed between any one of the first and second discharge electrodes and the address electrodes.
