<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium wherein such recording that a satisfactory push-pull signal can be obtained is performed by suppressing increase of an NPPb signal in a pre-formatted region. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical information recording medium 1 having at least a substrate 2 having grooves formed in a recording area, a recording layer 4 including an organic dyestuff and a reflection layer 3, the recording area has the pre-formatted area and a data area and a groove GV2 in the pre-formatted area has a width narrower or a depth shallower than that of a groove GV1 in the data area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
