<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a watt-hour meter capable of stopping power supply to a load-side distribution line, and enabling a current to flow, after it has been confirmed that there is no load-side distribution line short-circuiting, when earthquake occurs. <P>SOLUTION: When the vibration of the earthquake or the like is detected, the load-side distribution line for supplying power indoors is cut off with switches 106a, 106b. After the cut off, confirmation of occurrence of a short circuiting is performed by a diagnosis part 107; and when it is decided there are no short circuitings, the switches 106a, 106b are made conductive by the operation from an operation part 104. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
