<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide food compositions, medicinal compositions or cosmetic compositions, having lipid metabolism improving effects, derived from natural edible plants, ingestible for a long term and safe. <P>SOLUTION: The lipid metabolism improver comprises Citrus junos extracts. The extracts are extracted from fruits or seeds of Citrus junos by using one or more solvents selected from n-hexane, ether, acetone, ethyl acetate, methanol, ethanol, isopropanol, butanol, 1,3-dibutylene glycol, ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, glycerol and water, or the extracts are extracted by supercritical extraction using carbon dioxide, and hydrated-ethanol extracts using 10-90%(wt/wt) ethanol concentration is preferable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
