The device has an electronic unit (10), and a valve contact holder (12) mechanically coupled with the electronic unit by a hinge (16) in such a manner that the valve contacts are tiltable opposite to the electronic unit. The valve has contacts (14), which are electrically coupled with the electronic unit. The hinge has two hinge sections (26, 28) between which a reference break section is arranged. The hinge sections are rigidly coupled with each other in an intact condition of the reference break section. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a hinge with two hinge sections (2) a method for manufacturing a control device.
