<p>A software-installation system using a portable data storage and a method thereof are provided to increase an execution rate and a download speed by omitting a software installation procedure, and to improve a security by restoring a PC working environment to an original state. A software-installation system using a portable data storage(100) includes an environment configuration module(120), a DAEMON(Disk And Execution MONitor)(110), a license management module(130) and images(140). The environment configuration module is automatically executed at the time of installing the portable data storage to contribute to drive the DAEMON. The DAEMON is executed in a background and is constituted of a file monitor, a filter driver(112), and a service monitor(113). The license management module accesses a license server(300) to transmit the identification number of the portable data storage. The images are created whenever installing software and are used for installing a plurality of applications.</p> |
