COMPUTER SYSTEM HAVING SERIAL-ATA CONTROLLER AND PARALLEL -ATA CONTROLLER

A computer system having a SATA(Serial Advanced Technology Attachment) controller and a PATA(Parallel-ATA) controller is provided to remove the inconvenience of using a 40-pin connector and a 4-pin connector respectively by having a compatible connector. A computer system(100) includes a SATA controller(120), a PATA controller(140), and a connector(160). The SATA controller controls a SATA storage(200). The PATA controller controls a PATA storage. The connector connects the SATA controller with the SATA storage, and connects the PATA controller with the PATA storage. The connector includes a PATA connection terminal which is connected with the PATA storage, and an SATA connection terminal which is connected with the SATA storage. The SATA connection terminal is a part of the PATA connection terminal.
