A transmission is provided to decrease a manufacturing cost by reducing the number and the weight of components. A transmission includes an input shaft transmitting a driving force, a sun gear(120) integrally rotated with the input shaft, plural pinion gears(130) meshed with sun gear, a ring gear(140) meshed with the pinion gears, a carrier(150) positioned on a side of the ring gear and engaged with a shaft end of the pinion gear. Rotation of the carrier is selectively controlled by a detention which is composed of a clutch(180) selectively connecting the carrier with the sun gear, and a brake(190) selectively fixing the carrier.
