<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new glycoside having an antioxidizing activity and a tyrosinase non-inhibiting activity, to provide a method for producing the same and to provide a cosmetic composition, a food composition or a pharmaceutical composition comprising the compound as an active ingredient. <P>SOLUTION: The glycoside represented as 4-((3R, 4S, 5S, 6R)-tetrahydro-4,5,6-trihydroxy-2-methyl-2H-pyran-3-yloxy)-2H-indene-1,2,2,3-tetraol is a new compound expressed by formula 3, which is obtained by solvent-extracting from a plant derived from Ibervillea Greene. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
