PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a method with which an acrylic fibrous material is treated with hydrazine, then with an alkali to produce an acrylic fiber having excellent moisture absorbing and releasing properties is known, however, strength including pilling resistance, shape stability, dyeability, heat retaining property, etc., are insufficient. SOLUTION: The cotton-acrylic functional fibrous material having especially excellent moist heat generation property, pilling resistance, dyeability and wearing comfortableness is obtained by treating a cotton-acrylic fibrous material with hydrazine and then simultaneously carrying out a crosslinking reaction and a cationization by using a polyfunctional glycidyl ether type cationization agent as the result of practical application study of modification processing method of a cotton-acrylic fibrous material friendly to the skin.
