PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for rolling a rubber sheet, which diminish air catching parts and allow producing a quality rubber sheet. SOLUTION: The method for rolling the rubber sheet comprises: cutting an unvulcanized rubber in a prescribed width by cutting means 16 prepared in two places in regard to width direction while softening it with a revolving heating roller 11; and delivering the unvulcanized rubber of prescribed width to a calender roller 12 composed of at least three rolls put in series thereby roll-molding it in a prescribed rolling width by the calender roller 12, wherein the method scrapes a surface layer off from a rubber sheet 29 which is rolled with the roll of calender roller 12.
