PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device to which a speaker of high sound quality that can be mounted to a thin and compact electronic device is added, and the electronic device. SOLUTION: As the display device of a portable telephone set 1, a speaker integrated organic EL film display panel 4 is used. The speaker integrated organic EL film display panel 4 uses an organic film display panel 6 that is a display screen for displaying characters or video images thereon as a speaker diaphragm.
