The ceiling (5) has an active mass damper (1) arranged at a lower surface of the ceiling, where the active mass damper has a baseplate with an attachment geometry. A resonance frequency of the active mass damper is balanced to a natural frequency of the ceiling. The resonance frequency of the active mass damper lies within a range of 1.5 to 8 hertz, where the active mass damper has a motor, body (3) and a spring (4).
