The impact protection comprises a netlike, flexible protection component, which is tensed, tent-like, between a vertical obstacle (1) and another obstacle surrounding public thoroughfare (6). The impact protection has a fixing component at the upper side, and is vertically-adjustable and detachably, fixed at the obstacles in a force-fit or form-fit manner and is detachably connected with the base bordering the obstacle at the lower edge in a form-fit or force-fit manner.
