A DEHYDRATION APPARATUS OF A FOOD REFUSE

An apparatus for dehydrating food waste is provided to prevent the environmental pollution due to treatment of the food waste, by dehydrating and compressing various types of food waste containing much moisture. A hopper(2) rotates a rotating shaft by a motor, thereby rotating food waste. A compressing and transferring unit(3) communicates with a bottom surface of the hopper, wherein the compressing and transferring unit has a screw. The food waste transferred from the hopper is firstly compressed and firstly dehydrated within the compressing and transferring unit. A crushing unit(4) cuts the compressed and dehydrated food waste. A dehydrating unit(5) dehydrates the cut food waste into a cake type of waste.
