A couple matching method is provided to easily perform matching by segmenting the level of feeling and having a filtering system for preventing stalking. A couple matching method uses a network composed of a server and a terminal, and includes the steps of: at the terminal, receiving the information of a person in interest from a client A; at the terminal, receiving a heart grade selected by the client A; at the client A, requesting the terminal to send heart to the server; processing the heart of the client A based on the request; at the server, transmitting the processed heart to a client B; at the client B, receiving the transmitted heart through the terminal; at the client B, estimating an addressor and receiving the information of the estimated addressor; at the terminal, receiving the heart grade regarding the addressor from the client B; requesting the terminal to send heart to the server; at the server, judging whether the client B and the client A match with each other based on the request; in case of a match, sending a congratulation message to the client A and the client B; in the case of a mismatch, sending a mismatch message to the client A; and in case of the mismatch, assuming the client B as the client A, and repeating the steps after the heart processing step.
