A memory card bridge is interposed between a memory card of a certain type a nd a memory card reader receiver of that type. The bridge has the same configuration at its card receiving section as compared to its receiver insertion section and is readily removable and replaceable in order to avoid damage to the receiver caused by repeated insertions into the receiver or incorrect insertions.
