<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent device and its manufacturing method that can prevent the occurrence of leakage current and short circuits, and the occurrence of color mixing between pixels. <P>SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent device includes: a substrate 110; a plurality of first electrodes 112 formed on the substrate 110; a bank 115 formed into a predetermined thickness on the substrate 110 and the first electrodes 112 to define pixels 150 on the first electrodes 112, the bank 115 being made of an inorganic material; a plurality of separators 125 formed in stripe shapes on the bank between the pixels 150, the separators 125 being made of an organic material; an organic light emitting layer having a predetermined color that fills each of the pixels 150; and a plurality of second electrodes formed on the organic light emitting layer, the bank 115, and the separators 125. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
