<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device for preventing a cross-talk phenomenon and a pectinated pattern. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device includes data lines D1 to D6 arrayed in a first direction, scan lines S1 to S4 arrayed in a second direction different from the first direction, pixels E11 to E64 formed in the regions where the data lines D1 to D6 and the scan lines S1 to S4 intersect with each other and a discharge part 308 which discharges at least one data line to a first discharge voltage during the first sub-discharge time in the discharge time and changes the first discharge voltage during the second sub-discharge time in the discharge time to the second discharge voltage. The light emitting device discharges the data lines to the discharge voltages corresponding to the cathode voltage of the pixels, so that the cross-talk phenomenon and pectinated pattern do not occur in the light emitting device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
