PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a composite material for magnetic cores which can manufacture efficiently the magnetic cores having good behavior, and can reduce environmental burdens. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a composite material for magnetic cores comprises: a melt-blending process for forming molten mixture by carrying out melt-blending of the composite material composition for magnetic cores containing ferromagnetic powder and thermosetting resin, at a temperature lower than the hardening start temperature of the thermosetting resin under the non-solvent condition; and a pulverization process for pulverizing molten mixture and obtaining the composite material for magnetic cores.
