PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion assisting tool capable of smoothly taking in and out an insertion part of an insertion tool insertable into internal organs. SOLUTION: An insertion assisting tool body has a connecting part 128 connectable to an end part of an insertion pipe from the in vitro side in the insertion pipe 8 communicating the inside of the internal organs with the in vitro side, a through-hole communicating with the insertion pipe 8 via this connecting part 128 and having a diameter larger than an outer diameter of the insertion part 22a of the insertion tool 22, a seal member 124 sealing the atmosphere in the internal organs via the insertion pipe 8 by receiving the insertion part 22a in this through-hole 122, and an air introducing pipe 130 having one end communicating with the through-hole 122 and branching off from the through-hole 122 between the connecting part 128 and the seal member 124. Also, the tool body has an air sending pump 136 sending air to the air introducing pipe 130, and a pressure control valve 134 arranged between this air sending pump 136 and the air introducing pipe 130 and having an operation control mechanism for controlling operation of the air sending pump 136 by detecting pressure in the internal organs.
