PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair for straightening a posture by preventing or straightening longitudinal and lateral dislocation of the right and left ischial bones with respect to a backrest. SOLUTION: A recess 1 parallel with the backrest is formed at a part corresponding to the hip part of the chair, and a user sits leaning on the backrest in a state of settling the ischial bones. The back and the right and left ischial bones can thereby be kept parallel to prevent or straighten the longitudinal dislocation of the right and left ischial bones and the back. Inclinations 2 made high toward the outside are formed at both ends of the recess to guide the right and left ischial bones toward the center of the recess of the chair, thereby preventing or straightening the lateral dislocation of the upper half of the body and the ischial bones. The longitudinal and lateral dislocation of the right and left ischial bones with respect to the backrest is prevented to prevent the posture from being worsened even if sitting for many hours.
