The present invention provides compounds of formula (I) wherein Cx represents -CHO, -CH=N-OR₃, -CH=N-NR₃R₄, -CH=N-R₅ or -CH(OR₃)₂; m and n can be present up to four times and the other R radicals can vary from a hydrogen atom to different alkyl groups, halogen, rings or more. These compounds are used in pharmaceutical compositions for the treatment or prevention of AIDS or HIV infection, or for reducing HIV replication.
