A battery pack is provided to prevent a protection circuit module from coming into contact with an electrolyte leaked from bare cells, and thus inhibit an electrical short caused by the leaked liquid. A battery pack includes: many bare cells(10) of which the top and bottom have different polarities; a protection circuit module(20) which is electrically connected to the bare cells; a case which comprises a lower case(32) in which the bare cell and the protection circuit module are settled, and an upper case(34) which covers the lower case; and a plate-shape barrier(40) which is formed between the bare cell and the protection circuit module accommodated in the case so as to separate a space(S1) for the bare cells from a space(S2) for the protection circuit module, and absorbs a liquid leaked from the bare cells. |
