FUNCTIONAL ACTIVATOR OF DENDRITIC CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a more effective functional activator of dendritic cell and to provide a method for producing dendritic cells having an activated function.

SOLUTION: The functional activator of dendritic cell comprises at least one branched-chain amino acid selected from isoleucine, leucine and valine as an active ingredient. The method for producing dendritic cells having an activated function comprises culturing dendritic cells or their precursor cells in a medium containing the activator. The dendritic cells having an activated function are provided by the method. The prophylactic or therapeutic agent comprises the cells.
