PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ID cooperative system easily dealing with single sign-on of a service server. SOLUTION: The ID cooperative authentication system comprises a user terminal 200, service servers 400 to 402 for providing services, an authentication proxy server 300 for performing user authentication, and a network 100 for connecting these. The authentication proxy server 300 comprises an ID cooperative information table 600 for maintaining association between an ID for the authentication proxy server and an ID for the service server, and an authentication proxy user management table 500 for maintaining association between the ID for the authentication proxy server and authentication information. Upon receiving a single sign-on request from the service servers 400 to 402, the authentication proxy server 300 acquires the ID for the authentication proxy server and the authentication information through the user terminal 200, performs authentication in reference to the authentication proxy user management table 500, acquires the ID for the service server from the ID cooperative information table 600, and notifies the requesting service server of the acquired ID.
