PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make firm fixation of an insertion member into a cylindrical image carrier drum and easy removal of the insertion member from and the image carrier drum compatible with each other. SOLUTION: The image carrier 44 has a cylindrical drum 70 which is formed with a photosensitive layer on its outer surface, a damping material (silencer) 72 which comes into tight contact with the inner side of the drum 70, a sleeve 74 which includes electric conductivity and elasticity and is inserted into the drum 70, a first gear flange 76 which is formed with internal threads 78 in the inner side, and is inserted into the sleeve 74, a second gear flange 80 which is formed with external threads 32 on an inner side, is formed with a through-hole 84 on the inner side, and deforms the first gear flange 76 so as to flare the sleeve 74 to an outer side by being screwed down to the inner side of the first gear flange 76, and a conductive pin 86 which is inserted into the through-hole 84.
