PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a structure, in which the eccentricity and variations in the balance for a polygon mirror are prevented, in a polygon mirror scanner motor which is used for the laser scanning, in a laser beam printer or a laser beam copying machine. SOLUTION: The eccentricity of the polygon mirror 3 is prevented by fixing the polygon mirror 3, in a state where the rotation centers of the polygon mirror 3 and a rotating shaft 1 match each other. Furthermore, the variations in the imbalance is reduced, even when impact or the like is applied, by bonding the polygon mirror 3 to projections 2a provided to a rotor frame 2.
