PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera with a through-image function, capable of reducing a hand shake when a display device is drawn out of a camera body in order to perform low-angle/high-angle photographing, etc. SOLUTION: The digital camera includes a liquid crystal monitor 26 movable between a first position where the monitor is stored along the camera body and a second position where the monitor is drawn out of the camera body. The liquid crystal monitor 26 displays a through-image (S309, S319). When the liquid crystal monitor is at the second position (S311, S321), a program diagram (S315, S325) is used which is higher in hand shake reducing effect than a program diagram (S313, S323) at the first position.
