PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for holding a necessary amount of a cationic surfactant in hair by a rinsing treatment. SOLUTION: A cosmetic for treatment of hair is obtained by including (1) the cationic surfactant and (2) octyldodecyl isostearate therein. The cationic surfactant is preferably an alkyltrimethylammonium chloride and an amino-modified silicone is more preferably contained. The cationic surfactant is preferably a salt of an alkyltrimethylammonium. The amino-modified silicone is preferably aminopropyl dimethicone. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
