PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission of a tractor capable of making a vehicle body compact and enhancing the steering operability in the tractor in which a working machine is attached to the front side of the vehicle body and an engine is mounted on the rear side thereof. SOLUTION: A center case 7 at a center portion of an axle housing 6 with a differential shaft 4 and a differential gear 5 built therein is connected to a front side of a HST case 3 in which a pump shaft 1 of a HST and a motor shaft 2 are arranged in the right-to-left direction. A transverse brake shaft 10 to be interlocked from the motor shaft 2 via bevel gears 8, 9 is fitted to the center case 7, and the front differential gear 5 is interlockingly engaged with the brake shaft 10. When the pump shaft 1 of the HST is driven, the motor shaft 2 is subjected to the speed change transmission, the rotation of the brake shaft 10 is transmitted via the gears 8, 9, and further transmitted from the brake shaft 10 to the differential gear 5 and the differential shaft 4 to drive right and left front wheels. A PTO shaft is subjected to the transmission from a front end of the pump shaft 1 directly via a PTO interlocking shaft 15. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
