PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing mechanism capable of automatically (semi-automatically) performing both the opening operation and the closing operation without employing any electric means. SOLUTION: The opening/closing mechanism comprises a fixing part, an opening/closing member provided in an opening/closing manner with respect to the fixing part, a first link member 7 which is pivoted to be rotatable in the forward/reverse direction by the fixing part, and connected to the opening/closing member, a second link member 8 which is pivoted to be rotatable in the forward/reverse direction by the fixing part, and forms an operation unit, and a spring body 9 with one end side thereof being connected to be rotatable in the forward/reverse direction by the first link member, and the other end side thereof being connected to the second link member 8 to be rotatable in the forward/reverse direction. The spring body 9 is elastically deformed when the second link member 8 is turned to move the other end side thereof, and elastically restored by passing through an inversion point. The spring body is mounted between the first link member 7 and the second link member 8 so that the first link member 7 is urged and turned by the elastic restoring force.
