METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ULTRA THIN TYPE KEYPAD

A method for manufacturing an ultra thin type keypad is provided to suppress a thermal influence between a key sheet and an EL(Electro-Luminescent) sheet by separately forming the key sheet and the EL sheet. A key sheet(10) having a font(10a) is provided. An EL sheet(20) having an ITO(Indium Tin Oxide) electrode thereon is provided. A liquid adhesive agent(30) is applied on a lower surface of the key sheet or an upper surface of the EL sheet, so that the key sheet and the EL sheet are attached to each other. A predetermined amount of a liquid silicon(40a) is sprayed on a mold(G) having a groove. The key and the EL sheet are set on the liquid silicon and pressed against each other to form a keypad(50) having a base(40) with a protrusion(41).
