An LCD device and a driving method thereof are provided to minimize abnormal driving and logic error by adjusting a signal level of a gate pulse according to temperature variations. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device includes a gate voltage divider(40), which varies a gate on/off voltage received from a DC/DC converter(20) so as to increase a level of a gate pulse signal in a low temperature driving and decrease the level of the gate pulse signal in a high temperature driving, and supplies the varied gate on/off voltage to a gate driver(50). The gate voltage divider includes a resistor and a thermistor, which are formed in series to each other. The thermistor is formed by a positive temperature coefficient component and a negative temperature coefficient component, which are formed in series to each other.
