<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control unit for a three-phase motor capable of accurately obtaining current provided to a phase coil, in the case of detecting the current supplied to two phase coils in a three-phase motor having three phase coils and calculatively obtaining the current supplied to the other phase coil. <P>SOLUTION: This control unit for a three-phase motor includes: a first current detection device 30u for detecting a first current flowing into one of the phase coils; a second current detector 30v for detecting a second current flowing into either of the other two coils; a first voltage converter Au for converting the first current into a first voltage; a second voltage converter AvC for converting the second current into a second voltage; and a calculating unit 10 for calculating the voltage of the other phase coil, based on a sum value of the first voltage and the second voltage. Additionally, this control unit is configured so that the positive and negative polarities of the second current are inverted against those of the first current and the positive and negative polarities of the second voltage are inverted against those of the first voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
