<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing tab capable of suppressing a decrease in the junction area between the junction surface of the reinforcing tab and a circuit board and improving the connection reliability between a connector and the circuit board. <P>SOLUTION: The reinforcing tab 30 reinforces the junction state between a surface mount connector 20, where a plurality of terminals 22 are arranged in a housing 21, and the circuit board 10. The reinforcing tab 30 is made of a metal plate. The reinforcing tab 30 comprises: a mount section 31 to the housing 21; and a junction section 32 that is extended from the mount section 31 and has junction surfaces (first junction surface 32a1, second junction surface 32b1) with the circuit board 10. The junction surfaces (first junction surface 32a1, second junction surface 32b1) include a bent section 33 at least at one part, and has a first groove 33a extended in the thickness direction of the metal plate at a position corresponding to the bent section 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
