<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of normally performing the peripheral control of a game. <P>SOLUTION: According to the game machine, the output means of a main control means outputs a first command and a second command when power is supplied to the game machine. When it is determined that at least one of data corresponding to the first command and data corresponding to the second command is abnormal, the abnormal state is reported by an abnormality reporting means so as to distinguish the condition of abnormality.
