PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner having a filter cleaning function for automatically cleaning dirt on a filter and preventing accumulation of dust on fan blades, as in a conventional air conditioner, the dust removed from the filter is directly sucked to the fan, the dust is accumulated on a front edge and the like of a blade portion of the fan when the dust directly flows into the fan, which causes degradation of performance, further dust may not be removed because of clogging between the blades eventually, and the reduction of the number of blades and the designing of the blade shape to prevent the accumulation of dust may cause the degradation of performance of the fan. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is provided with a dust removing means for removing dust on the filter, and a suction exhaust device, and the suction exhaust device is composed of a swirl fan.
