PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic flowmeter which does not impair connection to piping. SOLUTION: Since ground electrodes 23 and 23 are passed from the inside to the outside or from the outside to the inside through a circumferential wall constituting a measuring tube 20 and not attached to a face of the measuring tube as conventional ones in the constitution of the electromagnetic flowmeter 10 of the present invention, the ground electrodes 23 and 23 do not impair connection to piping. Since the ground electrodes 23 and 23 are arranged in a case part 11 with a signal processing circuit, it is possible to simplify the connection structure between the signal processing circuit and the ground electrodes 23 and 23 in comparison with the case that the ground electrodes 23 and 23 are provided for both end parts 20A and 20B of the measuring tube 20 protruding to the external surface of the case part 11.
